Dear Lexington Staff, Families, and Community,
 
The Board of Trustees extends heartfelt thanks to each one of you - our staff, alumni, families, students and community members -   for your contributions throughout the  search process for Lexington’s next leader.  Your dedication and input have been essential, helping us shape a clear vision for the future.   With the support of Innivee Strategies, the Board  has been preparing for today’s announcement of the search for the next Superintendent of the Lexington School for the Deaf. We have engaged in extensive outreach efforts including surveys, focus groups, and thoughtful discussions, all aimed at defining the qualities and responsibilities that our next Superintendent must embody.  The result is a detailed and comprehensive prospectus, which highlights what makes Lexington unique and forward-thinking.  This prospectus is an overview and showcases why Lexington School and Center for the Deaf is so unique, innovative, and will attract a leader who is committed to empowering, achieving, and leading our organization. 
 
With the new transition of Interim CEO/Superintendent this year, and looking forward to our next leader, the Board of Trustees has taken into consideration all of the feedback from YOU!  Thank you!
 
We are targeting our search for our next leader that represents the heart of Lexington - our students and families. The Board of Trustees, alongside Innivvee Strategies, will continue to reinforce Lexington’s culture, community, values, and diversity of this organization. With new leadership, brings the opportunity to bring the community together, and reinforce Lexington’s strengths, mission & vision. 
 
Our commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement remains strong, and our search committee includes members of our community to ensure that your voices continue to be heard. We are grateful for your ongoing support and participation, and we look forward to beginning this exciting new chapter at Lexington.
