Please make sure to save your reference number at the end of the call to follow up again if needed.  OPT is responsible for the providing transportation services and the individual bus company to do so will depend on your child’s route. We also encourage you to advocate and connect with PISTNYC (Parents to Improve School Transportation) who can provide multilingual support for filing complaints as well.  https://www.pistnyc.org/resources
    12. If a student is absent for three consecutive days, the bus will suspend pick up.  The family must call the bus company to resume service and/ or contact Transportation Coordinator.

* OPT is experiencing a shortage of drivers and staff across NYC.  We anticipate some delays and gaps in service.  We appreciate your patience as we work together to resolve bus issues as best we can.
