Talking Points


What is TalkingPoints?

It is a simple messaging platform that fosters the family - school partnership.  Through this you will be able to contact your child's teacher and support team directly, while communicating through your preferred language.

Messages from your Child's Teacher or School

You can opt to receive text messages or download the TalkingPoints for Families mobile app. You can also use TalkingPoints on the web.

Free for you to use!

There will be no charge from TalkingPoints* to use text messages, the mobile app, or the web.
*Regular fees from your cell carrier might apply.

Have you already downloaded the TalkingPoints for Families app?
If so, read our step-by-step guide to learn how to log in for the first time, personalize your settings, and send your first message!


How to Log in:

Step 1:
Select the language you would like to send and receive messages in. 

Step 2: Type in your mobile phone number (required) and your email address (optional). 

Step 3: Check your text messages for a 5-digit verification code from TalkingPoints. Enter the verification code to continue.

 

Navigate the TalkingPoints app with ease!

Please note: You can change the subtitles of the video to match your preferred language. Also, for the Lexington School for the Deaf you do not need a Class Code. If you log in and it asks for that, please contact PPS or your child's teacher to make sure we have your current contact information in our system.
