The Lexington Center for Hearing and Speech provides audiology services to students enrolled at Lexington School for the Deaf. Services may include audiologic evaluations (hearing tests), provision of hearing aids and FM systems in the classrooms, and support for users of cochlear implants. Audiologists participate in students’ IEP meetings and provide recommendations to classroom teachers.
Lexington’s audiologists are licensed by the New York State Department of Education and accredited by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
