Lexington Soccer Wins Metro League Championship

On November 12th, Lexington faced Opportunity Charter School in cold, windy conditions in the Metro League Soccer Championship at Flushing Meadows Corona Park . After a hard-fought game that ended in a 0-0 tie, the teams went into a shootout. Lexington's goalkeeper, Jesse, made two critical saves, while Ahmed, Abe, and Alexis each scored, securing a 3-1 win in the shootout and claiming the championship title for Lexington. Congratulations to the team and to Coaches Gabriel and Sergio, as well as volunteer Alvaro, for their dedication and leadership. A thrilling victory celebrated by all!
