Deaf Town Hall on Voting Rights and Accessability
A Deaf Town Hall was announced by the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities. Come learn about accessibility at the polls and your voting rights! It will take place on October 16th, 2024 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
This event will be hosted on Zoom webinar. On the flyer, you will see the link to register- please register if you would like to attend. ASL interpreting and CART will be provided.
With the upcoming elections in November, the MOPD Deaf Town Hall will invite the Board of Elections in the City of New York (BOE NYC) and NYC Campaign Finance Board (NYC CFB) to discuss accessibility at the polls and your voting rights.
