The Lexington School for the Deaf is a state-supported 4201 school. Admission to our school is based on a severe or profound hearing loss and must be approved by the New York State Education Department.
Lexington's Pupil Personnel Services department will guide you through the application process and provide the necessary evaluations. A hearing test is required to complete the initial application. If you have not yet had your child's hearing evaluated, Lexington can do so free of charge.
